About Ronald McDonald House Ride
The Ronald McDonald House Benefit made its mark in the motorcycle world. With an estimated 1020 bikes participating. The 6th annual RMH Ride in little old Mills became the world's largest motorcycle benefit Ride for the Ronald McDonald House organization. The Ride raised $87,332.56 this year. Pretty impressive, considering the Ride is only in its sixth year, and came from an idea by local motorcycle enthusiasts, who got together and wanted to do some good for people. The Ride went great and everybody involved worked hard to make the event such a huge success again. The 2007 Ride was the most successful in the six- year history. At noon sharp the Ride left the VFW and drove through town. Hundreds of people lined the streets and waved and cheered as they rode passed to start the route. The stops were Wolf Lake and the Huntersville Outpost in Huntersville, Finally back to New York Mills for a hog roast and an outdoor concert. A huge success! The Ride committee members are already busy planning the 7th annual ride this year is sure to be a huge success.
